Le pavillon, compos\u00e9 d&rsquo;une multitudes de cellules en Coroplast et armatures en acier, est con\u00e7u\u00a0pour<br \/>\nmaximiser sa performance spatiale tout en minimisant la structure et la mati\u00e8re.\u00a0Celui-ci devait \u00eatre temporaire et peu co\u00fbteux.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le processus de conception s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 en trois \u00e9tapes : le formulaire d\u2019enqu\u00eate, l&rsquo;optimisation de la surface et la planification de fabrication, rendues possibles par la mod\u00e9lisation param\u00e9trique.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Formulaire d&rsquo;enqu\u00eate<\/strong><br \/>\nLa forme en \u00e9toile a \u00e9merg\u00e9 d&rsquo;un processus d&rsquo;enqu\u00eate sous forme num\u00e9rique bas\u00e9e sur les techniques classiques d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es par Antonio Gaudi et Frei Otto, entre autres. Et fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 la fleur de Bauhinia \u00e0 cinq p\u00e9tales, une pi\u00e8ce symbolique du drapeau de Hong Kong. La conception d\u2019un tel \u00e9l\u00e9ment, ne pouvait se d\u00e9rouler sans la combinaison de plusieurs logiciels &#8211; Rhino, Grasshopper, Kangourou, Python, Lunchbox et Rhinoscript &#8211; afin de cr\u00e9er un syst\u00e8me capable d\u2019\u00eatre autonome et construit en peu de temps (six semaines).<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/60674986\" width=\"610\" height=\"458\" frameborder=\"0\" title=\"Shellstar Simulation\" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Optimisation de la surface<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le pavillon est compos\u00e9 de pr\u00e8s de 1500 cellules individuelles qui se courbent et s\u2019assemblent pour parvenir \u00e0 une forme incurv\u00e9e.\u00a0 Elles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9coup\u00e9es au laser dans des feuilles de Coroplast translucides d\u2019une \u00e9paisseur de 4mm. Chaque cellule est optimis\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 \u00e9liminer la totalit\u00e9 des coutures int\u00e9rieures pour obtenir une surface plus plane et simplifier le pliage.
