Ensemble, ils d\u00e9veloppent un projet pionnier autour des formations dynamiques et des proc\u00e9dures robotiques appliqu\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019architecture. <em>Flight Assembled Architecture<\/em> r\u00e9v\u00e8le en effet des articulations spatiales et mat\u00e9rielles in\u00e9dites en misant sur l\u2019utilisation simultan\u00e9e de multiples agents mobiles. Envisag\u00e9s comme outils de production \u00e9volutifs, plusieurs robots volants sont programm\u00e9s pour interagir et pour saisir, transporter puis assembler des modules jusqu\u2019\u00e0 \u00e9riger une structure architecturale. En 2011, le FRAC Centre s\u2019associe \u00e0 cette recherche sur les potentialit\u00e9s architecturales d\u2019un outil d\u2019assemblage r\u00e9volutionnaire\u00a0: une performance de plusieurs jours voit le montage et l\u2019assemblage par 4 robots a\u00e9riens d\u2019une maquette de 6 m de haut constitu\u00e9e de 1500 modules de polystyr\u00e8ne. Ce prototype \u00e0 \u00e9chelle 1\u00a0:100 est con\u00e7u comme un \u00ab\u00a0village vertical\u00a0\u00bb de 600 m\u00e8tres de hauteur, implant\u00e9 dans une zone rurale de la Meuse (\u00e0 moins d\u02bcune heure de Paris en TGV) et pouvant accueillir jusqu\u2019\u00e0 30 000 habitants. A travers un nouveau paradigme de conception et de fabrication, <em>Flight Assembled Architecture<\/em> synth\u00e9tise ainsi de fa\u00e7on radicale et spectaculaire le pragmatisme architectural de Gramazio &amp;
